Rankings, four ways
Because "number one in Macau" means nothing without saying for whom.
Most "Macau sauna rankings" online are the same ten names in a different order. The same venue can be the obvious pick for someone watching the budget and a poor pick for someone who came for a particular theme room. So this page does not pretend to have one order. It ranks the ten venues four ways, and a venue can appear in more than one section — which simply means it is good at more than one thing.
1. Entry at MOP 1,199 — four venues, how to choose
All four start at the same price. What separates them is the service charge and the closing time: on a 2,000 bill, "included" versus "+10%" is 200.
| Venue | Area | From | Service charge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Empire Spa | Macau Peninsula | MOP 1,199 | 5% + 5% |
| Yu Spa | Macau Peninsula | MOP 1,199 | 10% |
| Shang Pin Spa | Taipa | MOP 1,199 | 10% |
| Number Nine Spa | Macau Peninsula | MOP 1,199 | 10% |

| Manhao Spa | Taipa | MOP 1,299 | 5% + 5% |
2. Latest closing — if you want to see daylight
Sorted by closing time, latest first. Empire runs to 07:00; most others shut at 06:00.

| Victoria Sauna | Macau Peninsula | MOP 1,598 | 10% |
3. Runway shows — the two venues that have one
Only two of the ten run shows. Times change nightly, so ask what time the show runs before you book.

|---|---|---|---|
| Number Nine Spa | Macau Peninsula | MOP 1,199 | 10% |
| Manhao Spa | Taipa | MOP 1,299 | 5% + 5% |
4. Theme rooms — the ones with real sets
Theme rooms are the most popular paid extra of the last few years. Some venues only prepare them if you ask in advance.

If the point is to spend less, remember three things
- The entry price is not what you will pay: the tier you choose, extensions and a named therapist all add on.
- Where the service charge is included, the same headline price is effectively 8–10% cheaper.
- Weekday afternoons, 15:00–19:00, are the cheapest hours; the same tier can cost 20–30% more at the weekend.
